Holywell, a UK Total Waste Management Company, provides an extensive selection of waste management services to meet the needs of business and organisations. They work closely with businesses to provide eco-friendly waste solutions that support the operational efficiency and corporate social responsibility objectives of their customers.

We undertook a new brand identity for Holywell Waste Management – a brand specifically aimed at commercial and large enterprise customers – to enable them to more clearly market these services, aside from their other services of skip hire and waste removal. We developed a strategic brand direction and ethos that was designed to compliment the other Holywell brands, seamlessly integrated across all channels, with a significant emphasis on developing a more effective website.

Building a Brand with Commercial Aspiration

The Brand Development Program involved an evolution of the existing Holywell brand, establishing a path for the company to define its commercial arm of the business. We crafted a new brand, weaving it seamlessly into the company’s existing brand story and history, delivering the basis of a cohesive brand identity for the whole group of companies.

A crucial part of the program was the creation of a cutting-edge website, serving as the flagship asset of the commercial business brand. The website not only sets new standard for Holywell, but also signifies the organisation’s forward direction and ambitious spirit. An additional aspect of this brand and strategy project was also the redesign and development of the Skip and Removal sites that form part of the groups wider portfolio.

Developing a Commercially Savvy Waste Website

The design and development of the new Holywell Waste website aimed to embody the fresh brand, and dynamic direction the organisation aspired to achieve. With a wealth of information catering to both commercial and public sector organisations, the challenge was to design an accessible, inviting, and easy to navigate site.

Our solution was a tiered page structure, presenting information in manageable sections, complemented by a simple and visually engaging UI to guide users through the content. Additionally, the site was built to maximise cross-selling, with multiple routes to the other company websites within the Holywell group.
